Aside from Substack, I spend my time working one-on-one with clients to help them feel like themselves in their clothes. I also run a group program called Making Space. While we cover the same material as I do in my one-on-one work, the group experience is really quite different. There are very few spaces where women are given permission to actually talk about getting our bodies dressed: the frustrations, the grief, the logistical nightmare of it all, with set boundaries to make sure that there’s no diet talk or talk of numbers. This is that space. It's usually a small group, (I’ll cap it at 15 women), and together, we work to define your style, edit your wardrobe, and learn how to shop, but also to share our experience and see how much of it is shared by others.
The spring session of Making Space starts next week! The program will run from April 25th to June 20th. Making Space is now asynchronous, so there’s no scheduling to worry about. We will have two live meetings, one at the beginning of the program, and one at the end, but those are totally optional and will be recorded if you can’t make it.
Here are all the details about the program. The cost is $797 for those who can subsidize another participant’s fee, $597 if you can only pay for yourself and $397 if you wouldn’t be financially able to participate otherwise. I can split fees into two payments. Early access will open to the waitlist tomorrow and to all others on Monday (4/21). Go here to get on the waitlist.
Sarah, a recent participant in the Making Space course, shared her motivation for joining the group:
"In this world that so often feels loud, abrasive, impersonal, and focused on consumption regardless of the costs, I want my wardrobe to reflect comfort, caring, functionality, ethics, and individuality."
Laurie, another participant said of her experience:
“I got politically informed style guidance, not an effort to sell me things.”
I’d love for you to join me in this special group program over 8 weeks. We’ll be diving deep into the messages we've been given about our bodies and what we should be wearing, releasing clothes we no longer need, uncovering what our authentic style is, and making mindset shifts together in a safe and loving community.

Making Space is a great course. Highly recommend. It has saved me much more than the program cost in clothes I didn’t buy and then regret. Dacy is a warm & wise guide to unlearning those pesky fashion “shoulds.”
The timing doesn’t work for me this time. Do you know when you will be offering it again?
