Email from Everlane announcing a sale arrives.

I go to delete it. I don’t usually click through, I’m sent them as an affiliate but don’t ever share with my audience.

Pause.

Actually I think the pants I just ordered at full price are in the sale (I’m in the middle of making decisions about a pile of pants I ordered recently).

Click through.

The sale section is big, decide to just scroll through (after filtering for size).

Come across pants (hereafter referred to as the “fatigue” pair) that I tried on back in spring 2024 and really liked but didn’t get because they were too lightweight for year round wear, in my size, for $33. Never do final sale, but since I have actually tried these on, add to cart.
