Here’s what I’ve been wearing lately:

I flew to visit my family with my two boys over Thanksgiving. This was one of those outfits that I envisioned and was excited to wear (I know it’s weird, it’s so simple, but something about the brown and grey together was really exciting to me πŸ€·πŸ»β€β™€οΈ) and then it actually looked basically how I’d seen it in my head, which never happens! The sweatshirt is thrifted and cut off to be cropped. I’ll link the rest of the items for paid subscribers at the end of the post.

Just a really casual outfit. The sweatshirt is secondhand via Poshmark and the jeans are from Universal Standard (use code INFS-AMBDACY for 10% off).

Another super casual one. Sweater is thrifted, jeans are same as above, boots and my favorite white tee linked at end.

Here’s what I wore for a collegue of my husband’s Christmas party. It was freezing and I didn’t feel like making much effort. This was a go-to outfit last winter and I was glad I didn’t have to think about it. Earrings are thrifted, sweater is secondhand Vince via Poshmark, pants and boots are linked below. The little bag is my thrifted makeup bag and it was not part of the outfit! πŸ˜‚

This was the day after I’d been to that holiday party and clearly couldn’t be bothered to even brush my hair. Denim shirt is thrifted men’s Gap and the ponte pants (see discount code above) are from Universal Standard, but I hemmed them to be cropped. I literally hemmed them the morning I took this pic, and they really need the hems pressed!

Sometimes I feel like the coloful items I’m adding are really basic in shape and so they need something with a little more interesting cut. These pants always do that for me, and I like the shape of the sweatshirt, which I thrifted and then cut off and hemmed. I probably didn’t leave the house this day, which is why I’m wearing my Birks, they’re just my house shoes at the moment.

Here it is again, with thrifted electric blue leggings πŸ’™

This outfit was one of those weird things where I was wearing half of it and then started to put on something else, but liked the combo that happened halfway through the change.

Every year, I’m tempted to get rid of this sweater and every year, it hangs on and gets worn a few times. I got it at Aritzia 8 or 10 years ago. You can’t see in the photo, but it is getting really worn and will probably need to be retired in another year or so.

And that’s it! Another month of outfits gone by.

If you like my style and want my input on your own wardrobe, my Making Space group is one of the best ways to get it. It’s an 8 week asynchronous group program during which I lead you through defining your style, editing your wardrobe, and learning to shop mindfully. I won’t be mentioning it too many times here, so make sure you’re on the waitlist to get info and early access for the next round starting in January.
