gray and brown felt fun to me π€·π»ββοΈ
but I'm still wearing color too: outfits from the last month
Hereβs what Iβve been wearing lately:
I flew to visit my family with my two boys over Thanksgiving. This was one of those outfits that I envisioned and was excited to wear (I know itβs weird, itβs so simple, but something about the brown and grey together was really exciting to me π€·π»ββοΈ) and then it actually looked basically how Iβd seen it in my head, which never happens! The sweatshirt is thrifted and cut off to be cropped. Iβll link the rest of the items for paid subscribers at the end of the post.
Just a really casual outfit. The sweatshirt is secondhand via Poshmark and the jeans are from Universal Standard (use code INFS-AMBDACY for 10% off).
Another super casual one. Sweater is thrifted, jeans are same as above, boots and my favorite white tee linked at end.
Hereβs what I wore for a collegue of my husbandβs Christmas party. It was freezing and I didnβt feel like making much effort. This was a go-to outfit last winter and I was glad I didnβt have to think about it. Earrings are thrifted, sweater is secondhand Vince via Poshmark, pants and boots are linked below. The little bag is my thrifted makeup bag and it was not part of the outfit! π
This was the day after Iβd been to that holiday party and clearly couldnβt be bothered to even brush my hair. Denim shirt is thrifted menβs Gap and the ponte pants (see discount code above) are from Universal Standard, but I hemmed them to be cropped. I literally hemmed them the morning I took this pic, and they really need the hems pressed!
Sometimes I feel like the coloful items Iβm adding are really basic in shape and so they need something with a little more interesting cut. These pants always do that for me, and I like the shape of the sweatshirt, which I thrifted and then cut off and hemmed. I probably didnβt leave the house this day, which is why Iβm wearing my Birks, theyβre just my house shoes at the moment.
Here it is again, with thrifted electric blue leggings π
This outfit was one of those weird things where I was wearing half of it and then started to put on something else, but liked the combo that happened halfway through the change.
Every year, Iβm tempted to get rid of this sweater and every year, it hangs on and gets worn a few times. I got it at Aritzia 8 or 10 years ago. You canβt see in the photo, but it is getting really worn and will probably need to be retired in another year or so.
And thatβs it! Another month of outfits gone by.
