I live in St. Louis. Before we get into today’s post, I want to share a few ways you can help the victims of the tornado that struck last Friday, decimating some of the most neglected communities in the city. My family and I went to take supplies and clean up debris on Sunday, but there is still so much to be done. If you’re local, go sign up here to find out about volunteer opportunities, or just find the tent in Fountain Park where you can donate supplies (especially snacks, water, gloves, and masks) or be assigned to an area to help. If you’re not local, please consider donating to this church that was destroyed or this one, which is serving as a shelter and food bank.
