Awesome! 🙌🏽

This feels like a moment of when something good “happens” to someone who is real, authentic & honest on the internet. I hope it feels great to you and that you are able to celebrate!

I’ve been following you for a while and I appreciate the honesty about being a mother, doing work when life feels challenging and how you share about it in a way that is relatable. I also appreciate the perfectly imperfect tryons and the recent challenge and although I didn’t participate in dressing, it made me think of my closet choices in a different way. Grateful for your work!

Big congrats to you, Dacy! I started following you on IG after learning about you from my cousin and was immediately drawn to your realness and transparency. When I ventured out on my own as a personal stylist, I was (and continue to be) inspired by you to do things the way I want to do them and not the same way everyone else does. Thanks for sharing this awesome milestone!

I found your work through Virginia Sole Smith and I love what you do. Great timing because I have started a new job as a professor teaching OB clinical to BSN students. I have been working as an RN in labor and delivery for 22 years. Therefore, my wardrobe consists of scrubs and casual clothes. I have also embraced my beautiful natural silver/grey hair. No dye for almost 2 years. This has changed my complexion and what colors look good on me.

My upgrade to unflattering membership level is complete. When do we get started?!

I'm so proud of you! You are doing amazing here (no surprise of course). It was just before your launch when we had coffee and you told me about your move to Substack that I finally felt the push to revisit my own desire to set up shop here. You inspired me to make the leap and my own 1 year will be coming up very soon. Thank you for all that you do! You are awesome!

Happy I was able to upgrade and now doubly happy to get access to your packing mini course. I'm atrocious at packing. Took 70pounds on 5 week European vacation in summer 2022 and returned with 94 pounds. Then took 60 pounds on two week writing retreat in 2023. Headed to two week writing retreat again in July and refuse to make the same mistakes made earlier, only do not know how to avoid those mistakes. Your mini course comes just in time. Please let us know when the course is available.

I love this and I'm so elated for you. It's so deserved and I hope you're celebrating your self and your work. I honestly can't even remember who I got on your original newsletter list pre-Substack but I am so very glad to be here. Your content and stories always give me something to think about and take into my day to day life as a mom and a solopreneur. I appreciate you and I'm cheering you on! <3<3
