the best gender-neutral, size-inclusive, ethically made, perfectly oversized blazer
plus my favorites for summer from Target and Universal Standard
As always, as I’m shopping for clients1, I can’t help but come across things I think everyone should know about.
I never want to influence you to buy something you hadn’t thought you needed before reading this post. Think about what’s on your shopping list and do your best to be thoughtful about what would add to your life and what would take away before you buy.
There are also many ways to add to your wardrobe on a tight budget, and I’ve linked the articles below for some ideas.
Access to my links is a paid subscriber benefit. As a paid subscriber, in addition to supporting the hours per week I spend on this newsletter and the ability to see those shopping links, you also get the ability to comment (we have an incredible community here) on regular posts, weekly discussion threads, access to style story guests’ recommendations, and the ability to submit questions for my AMA (ask me anything) posts.
If you’d me to shop for YOU specifically, check out the unflattering membership. Six times a year, I’ll post a “Dacy shops for you” thread and you can ask for recommendations on 2 items. You’ll also get access to my massive spreadsheet of retailers and all of my mini-courses.
If you’re reading on a mobile device, annoyingly Substack doesn’t allow you to upgrade your subscription in the app, but you can go to https://dacygillespie.substack.com/subscribe in your web browser to manage your subscription.
On to the links! This month, I not only have links I came across while shopping for clients, but also picks from Target and Universal Standard’s summer options.
